The Game Philosophy Initiative - game_philosophy@unimore - based at the Department of Social, Cognitive and Quantitative Science, School of Communication and Business at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy -, is an interdisciplinary initiative that aims to develop and interrogate philosophical and theoretical issues related to the study of ludic and social digital media. The Game Philosophy Initiative is one of the nodes in the international Game Philosophy Network, that organizes annual international conferences in the Philosophy of Computer Games Series. The next conference will be held in Athens, Greece in 2010.
